We're constantly on the lookout for new voices and perspectives, as well as expanding our in-house team. If you're interested in getting involved with Gay Hive, we're currently seeking the following:

  • Article Writers  — We welcome writers to share their thoughts freely, with no limitations on topic or length. Please remember to attach any photos to your submission. Learn more here.

What content do you accept?

We have a list of content we're looking for on our "Submit Your Work" page. If you have any suggestions for content you'd like to see, please email us at hushmagazine001@gmail.com.

Who is your target audience?

Queer Hive is committed to promoting uncensored content covering a diverse range of topics. As such, our magazine may not be suitable for younger readers. Please read at your own discretion.

Do you have any paid positions?

At this point, Queer Hive is entirely volunteer-run. We are currently seeking out sponsorships so that we can eventually make print copies of the magazine and pay our writers, photographers, and other team members for the amazing work they do.

What is your stance on gen-AI?

As of May 2026, Queer Hive is making an effort to avoid using gen-AI images and articles. Any submissions that include gen-AI will be rejected. Please note: this policy does not apply to the use of assistive devices (contact us for further information).

If you notice any AI images in future issues or on our website, please let us know! With how difficult it's getting to recognize AI, we know that mistakes may occur despite our best efforts.
